Ooooh I love it!!  I made this recipe for so many times already. And do you know why? It’s delicious, nutritious and ready in 5 minutes!

If you’ve never made a mugcake before then this opens a whole new world for you. In a hurry, no time to have breakfast… All excuses and no longer needed when you’ll try this recipe. A mugcake actually says it already: a cake in a mug. I hear you thinking: but a cake has to go in the oven for at least 30 minutes!? That’s totally true, but not in this case! The only thing you need to do is mash a banana, add some oats and an egg, 2 minutes in the microwave and DONE!

Yep, easy as that. And you can make endless varieties with it: spices, fruit, different toppings. So you can make a mugcake to your own taste. This is the recipe of one of my favorites.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp oats
  • 1 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp flax seed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stevia drop
  • a few raspberries

PREPARATION

Mash the banana in the mug. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Put in the microwave for 2 minutes on 900W.

And done!! Easy as it can be!!

No time to eat it rightaway? No problem. Put your mugcake in a box and eat it on the go or at work.
